Horseshoe Bend, Arizona

The Horseshoe Bend scenic overlook requires little effort to visit and is located near Page, Arizona. View the dramatic 1,000 foot drop from atop steep cliffs after a short 1/2 mile hike right off the 89 freeway. Named after it’s horseshoe shaped meander and part of the Colorado River the scenic view is breathtaking.

This area of northern Arizona is full of spectacular scenery including the Glen Canyon Dam, Antelope Canyon & other slot canyons, Lake Powell and the Rainbow Bridge National Monument.

Directions – How to get to Horseshoe Bend

  1. Located on US Highway 89
  2. Turn off between mile markers 544 & 545.
  3. Exit a well-worn dirt road on the West side .
  4. Park in designated parking area.
