It’s my first day in Guatemala and after an hour of hiking I already find myself questioning the sanity of the activity I’m participating in. I’m on the side of the most active volcano in Guatemala; hey, what could go wrong.. it’s only a volcano right!?

Filled with mystery from the days the Mayans used it for rituals, I took a canoe through the popular Barton Creek Cave in the Cayo District of Belize. Regarded as one of the largest caves in the world at over 4.5 miles long and on land surrounded by Mennonites this day was a great adventure I’ll not soon forget.
An adventure filled day that started on Ambergris Caye, headed up the Belize River wildlife spotting, ziplining the jungle canopy, and tubing through Belize’ amazing caves.
