The Cabrillo National Monument features some of the best views in all of San Diego. It is located on the Point Loma peninsula and features a large statue, lighthouse, hiking and beautiful scenery. Don’t miss these photos!

The Pefect Day – Torrey Pines Beach & Hiking
An unexpectedly perfect day hiking and relaxing on the beach in San Diego’s Torrey Pines State Park and Preserve. It wasn’t too crowded, the scenery was beautiful and nature had been well preserved – all within a few minutes of downtown San Diego.
Photo – Holi Festival of Colors Celebration
On March 30 was an event unlike any I’ve experienced before. The Holi Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork, Utah is the largest celebration of Holi in the western Hemisphere. A religious (Hindu) celebration for the arrival of spring and the ending of winter and is a major event in India – but I didn’t have to travel all the way across the world to find over 50,000 people having a wonderful time and celebrating.
