I travel to the 15th annual Placencia Lobsterfest in Placencia, Belize. It was an epic celebration of mouthwatering proportions. Don’t be fooled, there’s more to this festival than just filling your belly with delicious lobster!

This week’s photo is of the San Miguel Mission in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Built from adobe originally in 1610 it’s claimed as the oldest church in the United States.
Pictured is the Navajo Bridge crossing the beautiful Marble Canyon, AZ. Located near Lee’s ferry it’s the only road crossing the Colorado River for 600 miles.
An unexpectedly perfect day hiking and relaxing on the beach in San Diego’s Torrey Pines State Park and Preserve. It wasn’t too crowded, the scenery was beautiful and nature had been well preserved – all within a few minutes of downtown San Diego.
On March 30 was an event unlike any I’ve experienced before. The Holi Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork, Utah is the largest celebration of Holi in the western Hemisphere. A religious (Hindu) celebration for the arrival of spring and the ending of winter and is a major event in India – but I didn’t have to travel all the way across the world to find over 50,000 people having a wonderful time and celebrating.
