The Grand Canyon can be viewed and experienced during a single day trip if you play your cards right. I hiked, saw the endangered California Condor, and went up a 70-ft tower for incredible views in a single day!
Video and pictures of the Carlsbad Caverns bat flight. Bats flying out of their cave and into the beautiful sunset on a warm summer evening in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Pictured are the jagged, rocky cliffs inside Zion National Park, Utah. Shot on a hot sunny day in July, 2012 during our hike to the upper emerald pools on the other side of the valley. I’ve traveled through much of the Southwestern U.S. and haven’t seen many landscapes more beautiful than those found inside Utah’s national parks.
This week’s photo is of a famous mountain known officially as the Checkerboard Mesa. It’s made up of Navajo sandstone and 2 lines that form an easily viewed checkerboard pattern. Located on the East side of the Zion National Park in Southern Utah.
My photos and experiences touring Bryce Canyon National Park including the world famous amphitheater, natural bridge, and other view points.
Inspiration Point at Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah (elevation of 8,100 feet). By far one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in the world, it really is a sight to behold.
